Experience

Since childhood I sang in the kindergarten choir, later my class teacher noticed me and my solo career began. Singing on stage was my dream, so I enrolled in a music school. I also sang in a church choir, performing religious liturgies. After finishing 12th grade I held my solo concert, worked in a studio, served as a music director, and had a "Duet Night" with the Donatas group and Karolis Akulavičius, performing on a big stage. I had many concerts. After 12th grade I decided to study at LMTA, the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, but I wanted to work with children, so I moved and now study early childhood education at Klaipėda State College. I am proud of my choice and hope that everything will succeed – it is my calling.

How and when did you realise that music was your path?

As a child I didn't realize I would become a singer, but I wanted to sing with friends in the choir, and that was enough. Later my teacher noticed me at school and I started attending music school, realizing I could sing alone.

Did the people close to you support your choice?

My parents initially doubted my choice, but when I convinced them I could sing, they supported me and were proud of my efforts. Now my mother says that life is not always roses, but I will have to overcome challenges.

Which musical genres do you prefer?

I prefer pop music, but other genres are not unfamiliar to me.

How do you imagine your future in music?

I think in the future I will continue singing and share knowledge with my students. I want to learn something new, update my knowledge, and build a connection with students so they are not afraid to share emotions.

What would you tell someone who is still unsure about trying music?

There is no age limit; everyone can sing. The key is having a teacher who will help and give you the chance to reveal your talent.
