Five stories about music
The teacher answers five FASOUL questions about their path, inspiration and view of music.
How and when did you realise that music was your path?
As a child, his father showed him a Linkin Park song and video. He immediately wanted to become part of that culture, asked for his first guitar and soon understood that music would remain central to his life.
Did the people close to you support your choice?
He is grateful to his parents for their help, patience and the freedom to choose both the genres he played and the schools where he studied.
Which musical genres do you prefer?
He currently listens to and plays mostly fusion and modern jazz. He values their freedom to combine seemingly incompatible ideas and make use of many different techniques.
How do you imagine your future in music?
He sees music as a road without a final destination. He plans to keep performing, composing, producing and teaching while remaining a lifelong student himself.
What would you tell someone who is still unsure about trying music?
His advice is to listen to yourself and stay true to your own taste, which protects curiosity and motivation. In lessons, he adapts to each student and explores musical ideas through the songs they love.
