The teacher answers five FASOUL questions about their path, inspiration and view of music.
01How and when did you realise that music was your path?
When I began singing at six, I certainly could not boast of natural ability because my musical ear was not good enough. Over time, however, it developed so much that I became one of the strongest singers. That was when I understood that singing interested me and brought me joy.
02Did the people close to you support your choice?
At first, my parents wanted me to make music more than I did; I did not want to and even resisted. Developing my ear involved difficulties, but later I grew to love singing. Even then, I had to overcome stage fright before concerts.
03Which musical genres do you prefer?
I enjoy many musical genres, with a preference for indie and jazz.
04How do you imagine your future in music?
In the future, I want to teach young people and children to sing and also write songs. I would like to learn bass guitar.
05What would you tell someone who is still unsure about trying music?
Singing helps people release emotion and gain confidence. Even if you do not plan to pursue it seriously, trying it is worthwhile simply for the sense of wellbeing it can bring. If you doubt your abilities, experience shows that discipline and sincere work can produce excellent results.
