  • Describe yourself: I started making music when I was 9. Throughout my long musical journey, I’ve explored various instruments and genres. I’ve studied both in Lithuania and abroad, experiencing everything from classical music to rock, pop, jazz, and gospel. Thanks to great teachers, I have accumulated a vast amount of knowledge, which allowed me to unlock the potential of my voice and now teach others.

1.     Tell us how and when did you realize that you were inclined to music?

I realized I was inclined toward a musical life in my teenage years when music transitioned from being about “right/wrong” or “clean/unclean” notes to simply being about feeling and emotion. What fascinated me was how I could express all my anger, sadness, fear, and joy through singing.

2.     Did your parents supported your choice, or have you had difficulties moving towards your dream?

The biggest challenge in pursuing my music path was the technical and theoretical side. For a long time, I couldn’t see the charm or even the purpose in it. Only over time, particularly at university, did I realize how strong a foundation this knowledge had provided me.

3.     What genre of music do you prefer?

Personally, I feel the most satisfaction when singing pop or rock. However, I have the most admiration for jazz singers.

4.     How do you see your future related to music? Do you want to learn something new, maybe you have new ideas?

I have always wanted to write songs, but I could never find the words to match the beautiful melodies. In the future, I hope to master the art of lyrics.

5.     What advice would you give to someone who would like to test himself in the realm of music but has not yet made up his mind. How to encourage you to test yourself and help unfold your desire?

Simply being interested and searching for vocal lessons shows that you or someone close to you needs this. I know how intimidating the first time can be, but after that, the fear disappears, and the joy begins.
